Endangered Humpback Dolphins

Endangered Humpback Dolphin Spotted in Malindi Marine Park

It’s a great team of Conservationists out on their norm to search and research the deep Indian ocean at Watamu and Malindi.  Warden Jane who Heads the Watamu Marine Association, Michael the Photographer, and Niamh McAnally, the Writer on the Water, also a volunteer in Conservation had the most wonderful moment of the day. They spotted the dolphins as they swam passed their boat. McAnally has documented this on her new upcoming travel book.

Yet another day, the endangered Humpback Dolphins were sighted in Malindi Marine Park on 15th March 2019. It was a big family of humpback dolphins with their four calves with an expectation to see more. This is curtsey of Kenya Wildlife Service supported by African Fund for Endangered Wildlife – Giraffe Centre and this very conservation team headed by Jane that is very committed to protecting the endangered species in Kenya. Appearance of these dolphins simply communicate to the world that they have a great place to call home.
