Maasai Mara National Reserve is in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. It takes about 6-hour drive. You will spend 2 days in this game reserve, one of the most visited and famous parks in Kenya. Maasai Mara offers all the Big 5 animals and all the big cats.
If you arrive in Kenya around July to October, you will be able to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. It happens every year, beginning in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Serengeti is in the same vast plain as the Mara. The famous Maasai people live in this region and boast a very rich culture and heritage. Afterwards, you will visit Lake Nakuru, whereby, you will have high chances of seeing the black and white rhino among many other wildlife animals. The drive from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru is approximately 5 hours drive. During the 4th day, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha, whereby you will have this unique experience of being in the midst of giraffe, zebras, antelopes as you do a guided walking safari. One should never miss such a lifetime experience! Cresent Island will be accessed through a boat ride at the lake, which is home to many hippos.
Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is a wildlife Sanctuary found near Mt.Kilimanjoro, the tallest volcanic mountain in Africa. The park’s scenic background is dominated by the huge mountain. Amboseli boasts the largest herds of free-ranging elephants in Kenya. The last wildlife park during this 7 days safari will be Tsavo East, National Park. The Park hosts herds of elephants, lions, zebras, warthogs, giraffe, hyena, cheetah, buffalo, antelopes among many other wild animals. You will be dropped at your Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, Watamu beach resort at the end of the safari.
