An exhilarating 7-day Kenya safari, which includes Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, all departing from Nairobi. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of free-range elephants, making them a common sight across the vast grasslands of the park. Additionally, a captivating feature to behold in Amboseli is the stunning Mt. Kilimanjaro, although it is situated on the Tanzanian side, its snow-capped peaks appear remarkably close when viewed from the Kenyan side.
Lake Naivasha will be our next destination, and although it's a long 6-hour drive for a one-night stay, the journey will be well worth it. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking sights of the Great Rift Valley floor and the imposing Mau Escarpment.
Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you'll be treated to a unique experience with a visit to Crescent Island, where you can embark on guided walking safaris amidst an array of fascinating wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, and more. It's important to note that there are no predators on Crescent Island, ensuring a safe and enriching encounter with these remarkable animals.
Lake Nakuru is just a short drive away and is among the most loved parks in Kenya. Besides its gorgeous landscapes made up of thick woods and ridges, Lake Nakuru National offers a lake where greater and lesser flamingos flock. The area has about 400 species of other birds too. Buffalos, leopards, lions and rhinos are offered here. There is also the Rothschild giraffe and troops of baboons.
We will be in Maasai Mara Game Reserve for two days and two nights. This being the most famous park in Kenya, Maasai Mara has too much to offer you. Besides the Big 5, you will meet the brave big cats as well as smaller predators like hyenas and jackals. Bird species are several too as well as the huge crocodiles and hippos of the Mara River. The most thrilling time to visit is during the Wildebeest Migration that occurs every year.
