3 Day Mombasa Port to Tsavo East & Saltlick Safari

06:00 hrs – Pick-up from your Mombasa Port and drive through the scenic beauty to Tsavo East. Enter the park through the first Gate Bachuma” and embark on a morning tour drive in search of animals; elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and many more other plain Game. This is a slow but sure journey as you spot the animals along the way to your choice of accommodation. Lunch time will find you at the lodge/safari camp where you will check in, refresh, and enjoy lunch.

After lunch you will have time to relax. You can choose to take a photo walk around the beautiful gardens in the permited areas around the lodge/camp, or indulge in swimming in the pool.

In the late afternoon, it’s time to go search for the big-five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and the buffalo) within Tsavo East park. The game drive continue until late when you will return for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Grab a quick cup of coffee or tea at the lounge and refresh yourself, as you set off on an early morning game drive in search for animals within the park. This is the time when hunters are actively in search of prey.
Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast, relax, then check out and cross over to Saltlick -Taitta Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to arrive in time for lunch.

Continue your game viewing on the way to the lodge. Saltlick Safari Lodge is a unique architectural sight to behold, its 96 rooms modelled after traditional African huts that are eleveted on stilts. In the morning and evenings animals gather around a water hole at the lodge to quench there thirst there.

Late afternoon Game Drive. Dinner and overnight at the Saltlick Game Lodge.

Start your early morning game drive early enough to catch the action in the park during these early hours of the day. You’ll be amazed by the abundance of wildlife found in this Sanctuary. Besides the wildlife viewing you shall experience the aroma of nature emanating from the bush around you as the sun ray colors dominate the scenic Taita greenery hills. Return to the lodge for breakfast.

Check-out afterwards from the lodge and continue with another short game run on your way to exit. Drive back Mombasa Port arriving in your hotel in time for lunch.
